An epic sonic journey from the iconic Red Hot collective
Storied activist collective Red Hot—creators of legendary compilations like Red Hot + Blue and Dark Was the Night—brings Transa, their most ambitious project yet, to Powerhouse Arts. This intergenerational concept album brought together today’s most visionary trans and non-binary artists in collaboration with iconic allies including Sade, André 3000, and Sam Smith.
In a rare live assembly of the Transa community, the evening unfolds through potent, genre-defying performances that fuse queer joy, radical imagination, and spiritual urgency. This isn’t just a concert. It’s a collective invocation.

About the Artist
Red Hot launched in 1990 with the release of Red Hot + Blue. The first benefit album brought the industry’s biggest stars together to address the AIDS epidemic and the stigma the media created around the gay community whose access to healthcare was under attack.
Over 30 years later, Red Hot is the standard bearer for cultural impact advocacy. All-time contributions from the world’s most celebrated artists include David Bowie, David Byrne, Wu-Tang Clan, Nirvana, Dolly Parton, D’Angelo, Johnny Cash, Madonna, and many more.
